ROAL Motorsport, established in January 2001 by former driver Roberto Ravaglia and Aldo Preo, has become a prominent name in the world of touring car racing. Our journey began as Ravaglia Motorsport, and in 2006, we adopted the name ROAL Motorsport, an acronym that represents the founders, Roberto and Aldo.
Located in Padova, near Venice, our team is an integral part of the Group Motorsport BMW dealerships, one of the leading BMW dealers in Italy. With a dedicated technical department led by renowned Italian engineer Pietro Speronello, we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our racing endeavors. Our Legacy
From our inception, ROAL Motorsport has competed in major motorsport series, consistently demonstrating our prowess and dedication to the sport. We have a rich history of achievements, including numerous victories and championships in the FIA European Championship SuperProduction, European Touring Car Championship (ETCC), World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), and the Italian GT Championship.
Our innovative spirit was showcased in 2003 when we developed special steering wheel controls for Alessandro Zanardi, enabling his return to racing after a serious crash. This project highlighted our commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in motorsport.
